Information on Outboard motors! Things to check: Check fuel lines and primer bulb for cracking Make sure fuel lines are snug and not leaking Make sure connectors and clamps are free of corrosion or rust Check tank for corrosion and make sure it's vented allowing aspiration Check for water in Fuel also check fuel right from local gas station (have them put some in jar) Inspect all electrical connections for cleanliness and tightness Free of corrosion Check the pee tube make sure water is coming out steady (if not see water pump impeller on home page) Inspect propellers for dings, pitting, cracks and distortion. Damaged propellers can cause unwanted vibration and damage to your drive train Check all fluid levels including engine oil, power steering, power trim reservoirs, and coolant Belts, cables and hoses are important to check, as they can become brittle and may crack during winter storage Make sure your using Fuel stabilizer while running the boat at HALF STRENGTH If you hit anything bring it into the shop right away for prop shaft alignment check
